Carleton/Gilmour Buy or Sample
This disc was recorded during 2002 when I was playing in an acoustic duo with Jim Gilmour. Jim and I had played in our first band together back in high school which is where the two individual photos on the cover came from. Jim was coming into his own as a songwriter and performer and eventually wanted to pursue a solo career. The split was amicable and, on the rare occasion, Carleton/Gilmour still performs together. For those of you that miss these very rare appearances this album is an aural record of the group. It also served me in that many of these tunes were in their formative stages and therefore are somewhat different than how they ended up on my own albums. In one case there was even lyric changes made when I cut the song for myself. - Duane - Copyright © 2003
