Duane Carleton and Tin Pan Alley Buy or Sample
This album was my first recording that made it to release. TPA came about during rehearsals in 1989 for an album of psychedelic tunes I had written. There were only a few tunes started (now that I'm trying to remember, there may only be part of one tune surviving) and that project was scrapped in favor of a 3 piece blues band. The band featured myself, Rob Beanland, and Jim Gilmour which did record an album entitled "Blues in a Modern World" that never got released. That band lasted for a year and then after Jim and Rob departed, I added Chris Johnson on bass, Dennis Centofranchi on keyboards and Terry McGeoch on drums. This version of Tin Pan Alley recorded and released this EP on cassette tape in 1992. It was recorded at the original Mt. Hollywood Studio which was in Rod Ferrell's house. The drums were in one room, the rest of the band in another and the control room in yet another. The music is a blend of blues and rock. For sure, this is one for the serious DC fan. It has not been available for more than a decade. - Duane - Copyright © 2003 DuaneCarleton.Com All rights reserved Site Designed by.Drquazar Ltd
