Gary (aka: Spud) started playing drums at the age of 10 after a two week stint on the trumpet. His father didn't want him to play the drums fearing they woud make Gary go deaf. However the influence of Danny Seraphine of Chicago, Ian Paice of Deep Purple, Jeff Pocaro of Toto, Jon Bonham of Led Zeppelin and famous 60's and 70's studio drummer, Hal Blaine proved to much and the trumpet was officially discarded in favor of the drums.

Gary, went on to play with the very popular band 8084 for many years. Gary played drums on the Late Night Saturday w/Tim Kavanagh theme song which can be heard Saturday nights at 11:30pm on CBS affiliate WCAX TV Channel 3 in Vermont.  He aslo appeared on that show with a number of acts which included Rumble Doll. Gary's been in the studio a lot lately and can be heard on Ben Patton's "Because The Heart", "The Unquiet and Apart" and "Kaboom!".  You can catch Gary on the new Carol Ann Jones release, Out Of The Blue, all of Keeghan Nolan's recordings (and select lives shows) as well as on the upcoming CD "Someone Like You" by John Ian Scott.  Gary has also played on several tracks for Willard Way, Grace, John Cassel and Chad Ste. Marie as well as recording with Graham Bonnett of Alcatraz and Rainbow.
